Hello Everyone,
I'm putting out a call to the community to get some advice on how Ribbon's products should be used in a small business. My company, which employs about fifty people, is currently modernising its communications infrastructure in an effort to boost customer satisfaction, cut expenses, and streamline workflow.
After examining a few possibilities, Ribbon's offerings appear to be a good fit for our requirements, particularly with regard to session border controllers (SBCs) and unified communications. In terms of scalability and simplicity of integration with current systems, I'm still not entirely convinced how these technologies should be used in the context of small businesses.
I have the following specific queries:
Integration with Current Infrastructure: We are currently using a few legacy telephone systems. How well do Ribbon's SBCs integrate with legacy systems? Are there any compatibility problems or potential obstacles that we should be aware of?
Cost-Efficiency: Cost is an important consideration for a small company like ours. Can someone provide information about how Ribbon's products stack up against alternatives in terms of cost? Do you have any advice on how to get the most return on these investments?
Scalability: How simple is it to scale Ribbon's products as we make plans for future expansion? Would we have to buy more hardware, or are there software alternatives that are scalable and could grow with us?
I’d appreciate any feedback, personal experiences, or servicenow tips from others who have used Ribbon’s products in similar environments.
Thank you in advance.
